Find a faculty mentor for your project

Provide a short proposal of your project to

• • your faculty mentor

  • the NE-MRC director

  • the NE department safety coordinator

If your project is approved you may need to provide additional standard operating procedures including safety assessment

Provide us with a list of students in your group

Complete mandatory UC San Diego laboratory safety training and provide us with copies of the training certificates

• • UC Lab Safety Fundamentals Training

  • Annual Laboratory Hazards Training
